Headstone Restoration: Camp brother Randy Fletcher and his wife Karen have done extensive research into the restoration of headstones and developed a special, safe technique for cleaning the delicate stones. It is based on scholarly research, and supported by experts and numerous cemetery preservation associations. The Fletchers have tested it and find it to be safe and very effective in restoring marble headstones. Before cleaning, the stones were black and extremely difficult to read. After careful cleaning, the headstones have been restored and honor the veterans buried below them.
